Role and Responsibilities:

The Software Development Manager will provide guidance to the assigned development team and execute agreed levels of software development, with superior quality and industry agreed best practices. Below will be the key responsibilities of the incumbent,

Responsibilities:

•  Provide strong leadership to a development team consisting of 10+ software developers and Leads.
•  Direct the team on the latest technological trends and best practices.
•  Lead the technical design and architecture on projects.
•  Assign work to the development team (through the respective Lead resources) and track the progress.
•  Ensure that the resource utilization is at an optimum level.
•  Improve customer satisfaction and retention by managing the triple constraints of scope, cost and quality.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related degree.
•  ITIL or similar certification.

Preferred Skills:

•  8+ years of hands on experience as a software developer or a Lead.
•  3+ years of experience managing a software development team.
•  Excellent communication skills.
•  SDLC, Agile, Scrum practitioner.
•  Practical knowledge in implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Team Foundation Server.
•  Expertise in working on Microsoft Technology stack.

Thorough in working with technologies such as

•  ASP.Net MVC, WCF, Web API, Windows Forms, Entity Framework, WPF
•  HTML, CC, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, AngularJS
•  SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2012
•  Visual Studio 2010 / 2012 / 2013 / 2015
•  TFS 2012 / 2013
•  TDD, Unit Testing
•  Window Azure Development
•  IOS / Android / Xamarin Development

Brief Job Description:

•  Over 6 years of experience in designing UI on feature rich Web & Mobile applications.
•  Extensive experience in producing user-centric content.
•  Proven experience in translating high level user interaction flows, customer briefs into appealing and high usable interfaces.
•  Prepare wireframes / interactive prototypes of sites / features for internal / external review.
•  Ability to work directly with US clients / stakeholders, in translating a concept to a design.
•  Capability to explain design ideas verbally and in writing.

Educational Qualification:

•  Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum

Work Experience and Skills required:

•  Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and other design tools
•  In depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript3
•  Attention to detail
•  Time management, multi-tasking skills
•  Passionate and intimately knowledgeable about all things Web and Mobile
•  Aware of standards and latest trends in UI Design
